Research Fellow in Digital Health University of Manchester
Dr Marta Chmielowska is a Research Fellow in Digital Mental Health at the University of Manchester and an NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme Fellow. She completed her PhD at UCL on shared decision making (SDM) in mental health. As part of her doctoral research, she co-developed the first triadic patient experience measure of SDM with people with lived experience of mental illness, family members, and clinicians across the NHS, with plans for digital implementation.
In her current role, Marta brings together interdisciplinary expertise and a strong commitment to user-centred design to understand how digital health products can be implemented and sustained in practice. She chairs the Digital Health Reading and Research Group and is committed to strengthening connections between researchers, service users, clinicians, policymakers, and industry.
